Climate change has influenced infrastructure development in various ways. As a result, there is a need to integrate climate risk into infrastructure development.

The Board is pleased to partner with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) to offer this workshop that emphasizes on the need to incorporate environmental consideration at different phases of project cycle.

Facilitated by an expert from NEMA, this workshop focuses on:

• The increasing costs and liabilities to public infrastructure as a result of climate change
• The historical climate trends and methods for climate projection, acquisition, and application of climate data in relation to infrastructure.
• Risk assessment as applied to infrastructure response to climate change.
