Event Details

Kenya should keep pace with global climate technology development and transfer and explore the full potential in low carbon climate resilient development. The UN hosted Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) can assist in accelerating the process. Kenyan Engineers and Engineering firms stand an excellent opportunity to take advantage of its existing provisions and hence the lead among developing countries. Facilitated by a member of the CTCN Advisory Board, this virtual workshop provides an opportunity for Kenyan Engineers to acquire necessary knowledge on and to participate in addressing Climate Change and thereby, render transformative & sustainable services. The forum aims at:

  • Sensitizing engineers to stimulate interest in addressing climate change
  • Sharing knowledge & experience to increase exposure for informed engagement
  • Presenting opportunity to Kenyan Engineers to engage in a global professional networking
